Recently released Jane's Advanced Strike Fighters forces a 16:9 aspect ratio for all resolutions. I have created a tool that fixes the aspect ratio for multi-monitor configurations as well as 5:4 and 16:10:

If you want a custom resolution supported just post in this thread and I'll add it to the tool.

Hello,

I have tried this fix, unfortunately, can't see to get it working.
I run at 6048x1080 or 5760 x 1080

3 x 21.5" Monitors Landscape on 6950 Radeon HD (unlocked to 6970 spec).

Any suggestions or ideas? The screen shots look great!!!

The fix was created using the Steam version of the game. Do you have a different version?

I bought the game from Walmart, on disc, if that helps?

The retail executable most likely has differences in its memory structure, causing the tool to be ineffective. I'll PM you about a possible solution.

Belated public thanks ! Been happily using the tool since day one.
Game works great in Surround (minus the framerate cap): spanned HUD is really ok, menus and visual cues scale properly, no object culling whatsoever. I should have a DR ready soon.

Would be cool if the tool could remember my last used setting, though ;)

Wow nice.

I did not realise this was on Steam and bought it retail. If I activate it through Steam, does Steam apply it's exe and other things(?) that will allow this fix to work?

Steam version is supported, so if the game does activate on Steam then you should be good to go. I am looking into supporting the retail version as well and should know more soon.

I've just started looking into the FPS cap. I have never attempted such a fix before so I have no clear idea what it takes. As far as remembering user preferences, that's one of several features I'd love to implement in my work but don't yet have the necessary knowledge/skills. Still a Jedi apprentice here, though one day a Knight...and then a Master! ;) 8)

Sure thing, cheers. As the game still installs from the disc, I wasn't sure if it then behaved like the Steam version or Retail version. I am guessing retail, I'll let you know when it arrives either way!
