Winter Assault updates the game to 1.4, which breaks widescreen support. So; officially, yes. In reality... no.

Update: Patch 1.4 does more than break widescreen support. It also breaks modding support. {sarcasm}That's a lot of good...{/sarcasm}

Fortunately, two installs can coexist peacefully, so there is a workaround - even if it is imperfect...

Patch 1.41 posted. Nothing about Widescren in the change list.

Just for reference, I've moved the 1.3 patch file over to my .mac hosting. It was downloaded only 50 times this month, and had already taken up about 10% of our monthly bandwidth. I've updated the link on the downloads page.

For the record, patch 1.41 still has broken widescreen support. :evil:

On the positive side, they finally released Winter Assault compatible modding tools. (Took 'em long enough! :lol:) Doesn't let you get it working in widescreen, though. :(
