Hello, I own this monitor - http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-P2770FH-27-Inch-Monitor-Black/dp/B0047A5QNK%3FSubscriptionId%3D19BAZMZQFZJ6G2QYGCG2%26tag%3Dsquid1435246-20%26linkCode%3Dxm2%26camp%3D2025%26creative%3D165953%26creativeASIN%3DB0047A5QNK I got it a year ago, and am now looking at getting two more for widescreen gaming. However I am wondering if anyone has used this monitor before to do so, and how nice it was. The frame is really thick, and I am unsure how well it will work out, once in front of me. If not, are there any other monitors i could mix with it, or should I start from scratch?

idealy you need 3 matched monitors, Sharing the same resolution, refresh rate and sync polarity to run in surround.
The smaller the bezel the better but you dont notice them after a while. its like the windscreen pillers on a car. there but you dont notice as you are looking beyond them.

I use 3 42inch screens and they have very big bezels, but you dont notice during gaming.

Yeah, I figured as much! But I'm just wondering what anyones thoughts on it were, I know it won't be the best to do a triple display with, because of the bezel. However I'm wondering if it will be that bad, and if i should just get 3 with smaller bezels. Thing is I love this monitor though, the display is one of the best you can get... I think I may just go for it though, can't believe i can't find anyone with the setup online!

The bezels on that model do look pretty chunky, but bezel annoyance is really subjective. Understandably, some people hate bezels and find them incredibly distracting. They don't bother me at all. If there's any way for you to try out a triple-wide setup before purchasing, I'd suggest it. It doesn't have to be with the same model monitors you're planning on using, just something to give you a feel for how much bezels in general bother you.

Whenever possible it's best to go with 3 monitors of the same make and model. You'll get more consistent colors, brightness, contrast, and viewing angles. Also, as CoolMan mentioned, NVSurround requires that all the monitors have the same sync polarity or they won't work in triple-wide. Eyefinity doesn't have this requirement, but does need at least 1 displayport capable monitor or an active displayport adapter on at least one monitor. That being said, I use 2 identical 24" side monitors and a different 23" center monitor and I'm satisfied with the result.
