I use 120 / 0.75 for my 16:9 1280x720 resolution, looks ace.

Quick compare:

Here is 4:3 in the game

Here is 16:9 in the game

Here is fixed 16:9 in the game

As you can see its very zoomed in when compared to 4:3. To combat this I set it so the height matches the 4:3 shot, and also ends up giving the sides more view.

16:9 fixed, with 4:3 in the center. Perfect match.

A bit messy but possible.
I have only used this with the unpatched game ...

bind cam_1 kF1
bind cam_2 kF2
bind cam_3 kF3
bind cam_4 kF4

Copy and paste in to your the ... user.lxt ... file ... found here ... C:Documents and SettingsAll UsersDocumentsSTALKER-SHOC

The problem is the FOV fix uses those F keys ... so once you have enabled the FOV fix ... Alt-Tab from game and close the FOV program.
It should keep your FOV settings for that game session.
Go back into the game and you can use the F keys for the 3rd person view.

I tried binding the views to different keys but they didn't work ... dunno why.

Thanks Paddy ;) I think these settings will work for 16:10 too, not sure. You might want to check.

I already did the same comparison between 4:3 and 16:10 for the solution page ... not having a 16:9 screen I couldn't test it to find the best settings.
The FOV for 16:10 is perfect at 115 ... the Aspect Ratio is the same though ... 0.75

Yeah your right ... its not that good but it is OK for a few screenshots or wallpapers if you remove the HUD and crosshair.
