I can confirm that it doesn't support widescreen out of the box. However it does support higher 4:3 ratio resolution. It auto detect your video card and monitor capability and only give you the option that's supported by your hardware.
Anyway, I am very disappointed by this. It's just retarded not to include widescreen support on this one.

Um....I don't think this is accurate. There isnt any option to change the aspect ratio, and scanning the hardware comes up with the standard resolutions. Anyone find something different?

I think the 'no aspect ratio change' thing was dugdug's point. ;) 4:3 is the normal ratio - like 1024x768 and 1600x1200. It can't be changed. What he was saying was that it does support res's over SXGA... :)

Well it definitely won't do 16:10 1280x800. It just ignores it. Just like KOTOR 1.

Hell, this game's identical to KOTOR 1 except it has WAY WAY WAY more bugs.

Seriously, when are these developers going to learn to include widescreen support? Sigh....so annoying.

Ah, but KotOR used the same engine as NWN: and that supported widescreen out of the box.

They used the same d20 "game" engine, not the same graphics engine.

swkotor2.ini edited width and height under [Graphics Options]. 1280x720 doesn't work. Good Luck.

Since 1280x768 works why don't you guys try that? That is HD quality and give you smoother than anything higher like 1920x1200, or 1280x1024. For those with higher res screen you might try use non-full screen mode for PIP.

Holy moly 1280x768 does work. That's darned close to 1280x800. Only problem is it runs in a window.....

Is there any way I can trick the game or Windows into running it fullscreen?
