at first, i thought that every game have its own unique uniws patcher! but it seems that i was wrong and actually there is only one uniws patcher that works for several games! :)

Hello.
I had a problem that my mouse pointer was misaligned and the cursor was 'trapped' inside an invisible box. What I did was to fix it was to "Enable Hardware Mouse" using swconfig.exe in the main game directory, though at first this didn't fix the problem correctly. I had to undo the widescreen patch and patch it again, though you can probably avoid that by just adding/editing the line "EnableHardwareMouse=1" in swkotor2.ini under [Graphics Options].

Secondly, this is a great UI fix.

Hello, I am playing this on my Laptop. The native resolution is 1600X900 so I am unable to select 1280X960 to use the UniWS patcher. Is there any work around for this issue. Or could the UniWS patcher be updated to use another resolution for the custom?

Is there a manual way of getting widescreen resolutions working?

As far as I understand, the current method requires the use of a cracked exe, which in itself, doesn't even contain all the fiexes of the 1.02b patch.

So at this point, its either widescreen with a buggy game, or no widescreen and latest fixes?

Or am I misunderstanding something?

AFAIK all UniWS does is replace one hard-coded resolution with another of your choice... in the original/patched exe.
The Tested Version field of the Detailed Report is just the version used at the time of submitting the solution. It doesn't necessarily mean it won't work with later patches. ;)

Ok, I was able to locate an unprotected exe for the steam version 2.2.0.0 and uniws works for it.

For some reason though, on my win7 64 bit OS, uniws only shows KOTOR II in the list, after i use the "find it for me" button for KOTOR I.

doing this, completely changes the game drop down list in uniws. Really quirky and strange app.
