Although the game supports any resolution, for some stupid reason, I get the letterbox effect (black bars on the top and bottom of the screen) even when playing at a 16:9 res. Anybody know how to turn that off?

dude the game is made with letter box bars. thats how its meant to be. They did it to keep a cinematic feel to the game. Awesome game by the way :)

But, if you've got a widescreen display, wouldn't it be better to take the bars off the top and bottom and left and right and get the cinematic feel to fill your whole panel?

Exactly, it ridiculous. I already have it in widescreen. The image gets stretched out because of the letterbox. If it didn't have the letterbox, it would look perfect.

Regardless, if it gives the option to use widescreen resolutions, it shouldn't also use letterbox. That's just dumb. The whole point of letterboxing it to view in 16:9.
