Most games *do* support widescreen, especially in recent years. None of the games you mentioned are officially out yet (none are probably even completed yet), but Crysis and Resident Evil 4 are pretty much guaranteed to support widescreen when they do come out. Bioshock is likely to support widescreen for no other reason than that for an FPS to not support widescreen in this era would be unlikely.

Vinit should you decide to buy a WS Monitor in the Future do some shopping around, and stick around and do some reading here. There are lots of great posts about these things that can help you with the new technology out there.

Personally I went with a HDTV for my monitor becasue I wanted a full entertainment center basically. I have one room in the house where my computer, stereo, HDTV, Computer, DVD player, Speakers, and all my gaming stuff is and it's my fun room. It also serves as my office too. I recently with with WS and it has mnay advatages. At first I was a little intmidated by the technology, but after getting this big HDTV/Monitor, I could not be happier. You don't look at or watch an HDTV monitor, you are literally there in that virtual world. There are way to do surround gaming even which makes it even more like "being there".

I see WS totally taking over the Video scene. It's like a 33 Record Album compared to a CD or DVD. Throw in HD content and you are totally immersed in a virtual world.

Give one of these things a try. I think you'd love them. I really like mine alot. :)
