If you've played Remedy's previous games, Max Payne and Max Payne 2, then I think you'd be excited about this. They both had very good stories, and amazing action sequences. It was basically like being in an oldschool John Woo movie like The Killer or Hard Boiled.

True. I really loved both Max Payne games and actually finished them both. (I know that they are super short games, but I'm a habitual game-not-finisher.... um... you know what I mean). BUT, I don't see where the game will deliver that kind of gameplay. I mean sure, he's holding a gun in the trailer... but I'm not convinced. I like horror games, but I can only take so many "Boo!" moments before I grow bored of it.

I'll wait and see... it sure looks amazing and if it natively supports widescreen then I will most likely buy it. Hell, the peer pressure at the WSGF is enough to make me spend too much money as it is. :?

RE:"There frankly are only very few games in this setting, and most of them aren't that scary..."

Then there is F.E.A.R. of course

Condemned: Criminal Origins on the 360 got me jumping a couple of times. Really enjoyed playing it late at night with high volume. There is a PC version too so I guees it is right up there too.

F.E.A.R is only scary in the ending portion.

I'd agree. It gives a couple of shocks at the start, one big scare in the abandoned offices section when a body explodes through some blinds, and the *SPOILER* ghosts at the end. Those are the only true scarey bits.

All the other horror, gore and gibs make for a great laugh. :P

I love having Xbox now even more, every E3 game has a high res video on XBL, pretty sure they are in 720p too :D

They look awesome. Not to mention like 3 or 4 new demos.
