Hey Paddy, I'm using a TH2GO with 3 generic 19' monitors. I've keyed the res hack for 3840 by 1024 in the shortcut and BF2 works fine in stretched mode, but when I run the BF2FOV2 utility the number pad keys seem to be unresponsive in the game ( the FOV isn't changing). I've read your other posts and have done the complete uninstall. I've tried the utility using BF2 version 1.03 and 1.3 but have the same results. The utility is in the main directory of BF2. I'm a noob so I'm sure I'm missing something. Is it necessary to modify the video.con files or any other files for the utility to work? Thanks for any help you can offer! :)

Hello ... welcome to the WSGF ... 8)

No it shouldn't be necessary to mod any files to get it to work ...
Strange it isn't working for you ...
Just to check ...
Have you have extracted both files (bf2FOV.exe and inj.dll) from the rar into your BF2 folder where the Battlefield 2 .exe is ?
Have you have just left the tool running whilst playing the game ?
Have you tried it with NumLock on and off ?

Other than that ... I don't know why it wouldn't be working for you ... :?

Weapons looking better ...
1280x1024

Setting up the gun for TripleHead is a little tricky as there are many ways to have the gun ... here are the better ones ...
3840x1024

3840x1024

You guys amaze me . I would never risk getting kicked from a server forever by punkbuster--and just for a weird looking wider screen . I think you should all send an email to the address mentioned in this thread:

Maybe it is possible to do something like I mentioned in this post?:
http://www.widescreengamingforum.com/node/7482

I know it may make the game just a small window inside of my monitor, but at least it will not be stretched and weird looking :?.

And like Stretch said, "Very cool, Paddy my man. Keep it up - you are on the sharpest part of the cutting edge right now. Though I have to admit - as much as I enjoy tweaking, I don't want to get on the wrong side of punkbuster"

I wont get on the wrong side of punkbuster because I refuse to play EA's bug ridden games that don't support widescreen.

EA are co@#smokers, perhaps they will redeem themselves with Crysis. Hopefully.

Other than the widescreen problem, I love Battlefield 2.
