I can't find any indication of where i can change the resolution. It's almost not even playable when played in 640x480.

Surely there must be a way to bump up the res a couple steps?

Hello.

You can't change the resolution and must play in 640x480.

Thanks.

It really looks aweful, with April and all the characters almost looking like they're made out of moving glass shards. Oh, well.

Atleast i know i'm not alone.

Just curious, did you continue playing?

I saw this one in the amazon bargain bin and was tempted, but not too sure how it's gonna look at 640x480, even with fixed aspect on.

On a screen that big? Pretty blocky :)

I played Sega Rally 2 at 800x600 a few weeks ago and it was like playing at 320x240 on my old 15" CRT :).

It can't really be helped. The models in the game are so blocky and the textures and backgrounds are so low-res that even if you could up the resolution, it would still look terrible. In comparison the Gamecube version of Resident Evil, which also uses 640x480, looks tons better.

Like gfx are important in an amazing game as The Longest Journey. Off course it's great when the gfx look nice, but this game is just all about the story. One of the best adventures I ever played, no doubt.
