The best way to get a message across to EA is to not buy any more of their games. But this becomes harder every day as EA buys out the smaller, decent game companies. Crytek is an example (Crysis probably won't support widescreen).

EA is not only cranking out unfinished games and asking for more money, but if you notice they are starting to throw adds and billboards in. This gives them even more money but they still expect you to pay the same price for the game.

Anyways, NFS cabon is a better looking game than MW in my opinion.
But the lag just isn't worth it. Although some of the lag might be fixed in a driver patch from the video card vendors, EA should've made sure their game was fully supported and optimized before they released it.

EA should change their "Challenge everything" motto to "Pay more, get less".

laggy gfx here too. got a 7600GT and MW would tun smooth on high but now its all disaster

anyway got it working on 1680*1050 but i need to put shader on low to get decent framerate. And with shader on low i feel like playing Test drive 1 on my ancient 386sx :P

ANYONE managed to run it on a WD res below 1440x900 ?

Like 1280x768 (or 720) ?

yeah I'm running it on 1280x720 on my 120' electric screen using panny900u
works just fine but it does run slower than most wanted and graphically I don't think it looks better even on max settings

Yep as i thought, it's just -VERT. Playable tho.

And yeah, the game looks a bit shit i think, worse than Most Wanted.

It says "EA" on the box though so can't expect much.

LOL

I have the same problem: what I do it's return the resolution to another one who works fine (like 1024x768) before I quit the game.

The UniWS method works great but I'm getting random lock-ups during game play but mostly when I'm in the menu's.

It's not so bad as it doesn't happen a lot but still it sucks. Anyhoo I'm happy with the results overall. 8)
