Apparently ... older PC's will be able to run Crysis ...
Speaking to Next-gen.biz, Cevat Yerli said he wanted to make the game available to a wide range of PC fans rather than just those that could afford hi-tech top-of-the-range systems.
He said: "We developed almost all effects to be very scalable for different hardware specs. Fortunately this is much easier now that we can rely on the existence of hardware shaders. We believe clearly that Crysis will be enjoyed by a large audience that dates back to gamers with two to three-year-old gaming rigs."
But there's a sting in the tail, although Crysis doesn't require PC owners to have Windows Vista, this could change in time. Yerli added: "Most likely we will upgrade all dev stations to Vista and move to Vista-only titles, but that's not 100 percent decided yet."
