Anyone ever play this game? One of my favorites of all time, and yet its so simple. The concept is that you are a lone marine left behind on an alien world. Aliens have sensed your presence and are converging on your location from all around... thousands of them. Grab your gun and don't stop firing until they finally overwhelm you, leaving nothing behind but a blood soaked battlefield and thousands of carcasses.

Perspective is top down 2D isometric, with a leveling and perks system and a wide variety of weapons from a blowtorches and flamethrowers to rocket launchers to plasma weapons to miniguns and more with bonus effects like fire bullets (quad damage), bombs, freeze, time dilation effects, and a deadly plague. Your game is only going to last 10 minutes tops though, so make em all count!

The game is freeware, so download it from the link below if you'd like! And let me know what you think :)

There is no install necessary, so don't be afraid to give it a try! And let's see if anyone can beat my 2 player high score of 200,000 points with 1400+ kills :)

(I play 2 player because the games are more intense... just assign both players the same keys, get em both guns, and run into the side of the map to merge the sprites over each other.)

No one really likes the game, or no one can beat 200k points? :)

The game looks phenomenal full screen with video card scaling btw... actually everything looks phenomenal. Older games REALLY benefit from video card scaling... I just gave Fallout and Raptor a try and they both looked super despite being 320x240 or 640x480 based games.

I played it abit, its not that I dont like it I just like narbacular drop alot better. Been playing the custom man made maps. They really give your brain a testing.

This game even scaled up to fit my screen is pretty small and hard to see on a 15" widesceen laptop.

Narbacular drop doesnt like vista ult x64... runs fine, but the console key wont work for some reason so I cant invert the mouse or load custom maps, so I have too boot into xp and I hate having to go into xp for things.

I can't even get close to that score. (of course I am just playing 1 player, but still...)

I like the framerate counter... I am getting 2000+ FPS.
