that is my problem,

the third post down has an example of what i mean.

as you can see there are some stretched out parts, and some are fine, such as the terrain and buildings models, etc..

if theres a need for more info, please ask.
my monitor is a 22" with native res of 1680x1050.
3 out of 4 games have worked fine. RTW is the only game with aesthetic issues. the video setting allows for 1680x1050 resolution with or without widescreen selection, but i dont see a difference.

that's the problem i think - i do not believe that RTW has specially rendered Video's for the widescreen resolution -> but the game looks fine, so what :lol:

Think you'll have to put up with that. I'm guessing you mean the HUD stretch at the bottom? Because it's overlayed rather than rendered like the rest of the map, it's gonna be stretched.

I don't know what the game looks like normally, but to me it looks alright and for many old games, that's a pretty good outcome!
