3. The late Gunpei Yokoi's famous creation and his more infamous creation.

Game Boy and Virtual Boy.

4. If you were at the arcade in the late 80's chances are you saw long lines of people waiting to play this co-op brawler.

Double Dragon.

5. Square specifically made this console RPG game in an attempt to ensnare casual gamers.

That's kind of like asking which action movie directed and produced by Michael Bay was unsophisticated.

But Final Fantasy Mystic Quest was notorious for being dumbed-down among fans of a dumbed-down genre, so I'm guessing that.

2: Just a grand? Pft. Try $2500 for the RDI Halcyon. Assuming any still existed by the early 90's.

The only mega expensive consoles of the 90's I know of are the 3DO and the Neo-Geo. Neither ran for quite a grand.
