Her is the official news release
http://www.matrox.com/graphics/en/press/releases/2008/gxm/th2go_widescreen/

Sooo what is the best 22 inch out there? Especially reference bezel size?
Is there any larger than 22' but still using 1680x1050?

Maybe I should buy a couple of the cheaper Dell 24" run them at that res and bump up the AA/AF! :)

Dude get 200-22in you do not want to pump 1680*1050 into a 1920*1200 monitor, you will get poorer quality than on a 20-22

Now, this barrier of 3 x 1280 x 1024 is broken, I wonder when will the 3 x 1680 x 1050 be broken again?
What is keeping Matrox from going up to 3 x 1920 x 1080/1200 ? Maybe, they are waiting for ATI HD6870 or Nvidia GTX480 to have enough graphic power for those pixels?

I dunno just for a test I ran CoD4 on my 24" Dell at 1680x1050 with 16AA/AF it looked fine!

That may be true but 16AA/AF at 5040x1050 will be hard to run.

Believe it or not mine looks fine with just 2xAA and on the desktop/windows etc. (if you didn't know) you wouldn't be able to tell it wasn't the native res.
