KNOWN WORKING:
Viewsonic VX2240w

Got these running 5040x1050 @ 57 Hz, therye a good cheap monitor. Supposedly 2ms response time.

Yes, I posted about these quite some time ago. I have bought about 30 of these for various systems and not a single DOA either. Highly rate them.

I can't get my LG 2361V's over 3840 x 1024 with the THTG Digital version attached

There is a option for 4080 x 768 but that looks real bad when you're used to 1900 x 1050

Any ideas guys?

Thanks for the help

not sure if this helps but the nVidia control panel say I can create custom resolutions and refresh rates...is this safe and or do-able?

Thanks for the help Guys

BenQ FP202WA isn't working with 5040x1050. I have 3 of them and they only work at 1680x1050@60Hz.

Not tested singulary. (how can i try to use lower frequences then 60Hz on a single connected monitor? My Windows doesn't offer it)

Have you tried downloading PowerDesk 2.06 and running them at 5040x1050x60Hz?

Samsung 2433BWs work with Nvidia 195.62 with a little modifcation to the DeviceInfo.ini file in the Matrix Graphics folder for PowerDesk.

See this thread for step-by-step instructions:

Mythiasis, this does not really answer the question: "does your monitor model support 1680x1050@57 Hz ?" ;)

Well, that's because they are already listed as working, but with older Nvidia drivers. I've gotten them to work with the current 195.62.

Thid thread is hopefully in the process of becoming obsolete, but let's keep the focus on the specific issue of 1680@57 Hz (as opposed to "successful 5040"). ;) ;)

Hey all, new to the forum but this may help someone somewhere.

Acer2416W Monitors that formally would not run 57hz now do so. I am running at 5040x1050 (3x 1680x1050). Best I could do before was 4320x900. I can run them at 57.1hz and 58.8hz reported (by onscreen menu) with no problems.

What has changed at my end. Upgraded to win7 64bit. Latest drivers and firmware for the TH2Gd were also downloaded for the upgrade. Running a nvidia gtx260 card as well if that is relevant.

Also the ASUS 26" VK266H LCD monitor works just fine. (one of my Acers died so I have the ASUS in the middle)

Anyone test the LG L206WTY? Specs say 1680 x 1050 max rez but I cannot get it to run in 5040x1050 @ 57hz. I have most current drivers for video 8800 GTX Ultras, Matrox driver/firmwear, Win 7 64 bit drivers but to no avail. I think it might be because I am running Win 7 64.
