wellnot really it does as far as the menu is centerec in the middle and not stretched

but the FOV is zoomed in. and not correct..

anyway to fix this?

UPDATE: never mind I got it working.

btw: how come in the game when u burn people with the flame thrower they don't turn brown or dark?

my problem was DX10 mode doesn't like ultra wide resolutions. Have to run in DX9 all sorted thanks. A little bit annoying as DX10 mode has better performance than DX9 in this game.

Im running FC2 DX10 at 5040x1050 (full screen), with the latest nvidia driver 191.07, and yes the performance is really better.

Nvidia must have sorted it at the driver level. When patch 1.02 was first released with widescreen support it was stated that ultra wide resolutions were not supported in DX10. So it seems that is now only limited to Ati cards :(

Thanks your post it made me try again. I am running an eyefinity setup with Cat 9.10 drivers. The issue I have is that when DX10 mode is selected the 5760 x 1200 resolution does not show up. In DX10 mode I can get into the game at 5760 x 1200 via config file edit but in the options that resolution isn't there. So when I checked widescreen and hit apply the setup messed up as it was also trying to apply the resolution highlighted in the options (by default it was 640 x 480 for me).

Solved the issue by already being in DX9 mode (which allowed 5760 x 1200 ot appear) with widescreen checked. All I did is change it to DX10 and apply. 5760 x 1200 still doesn't show up in the options but I am running in DX10 now at 5760 x 1200 and widescreen is applied.

Well this stinks, the DLC only works with 1.2 or greater but 1.2 breaks the RacerS FOV hack. Any work around to get the FOV set in 1.2 or 1.3 versions?

v1.2 adds Hor+ in widescreen, so the hack isn't needed anymore. The DR is based on v1.2 + the Fortune Pack.
If you really wish to use a custom FOV in v1.2+ though, I'm afraid you're screwed.
