Your character has two hands. Your mouse has two buttons. Well go grab two weapons !!
This is NOT your generic low-budget russian FPS. Everyone will agree that being called Brute Willis or Herr Doktor for creative combo kills is a reward in itself. Then there's adrenalin... secrets... and the subtly-cheesy dialogs. :D

Official english demo is out.
Resolutions are a bit limited atm (2560x1600 works ok but there's no 1080p, no TripleHead, and editing config.ini doesn't work) but a patch *should* address that soon after the game's release. Not sure if there'll be an updated demo though.

I've not even beaten the demo, but already ordered the game. I'm so glad the guys came up with this crazy project rather than a probably so-so Painkiller 2 !

COOL, sorta looks like Hellraiser meets Doom3, with a touch of Painkiller. I can't believe how poor in image quality that trailer was though. I'll be DLing the demo for sure, thanks for the heads up.

I liked the demo a lot... sort of a bit slower-paced Painkiller, which I like the idea of. Graphics looked good, despite all the blur.

I'll get it when it releases in the states.

You guys are talking about a playable demo right? What do you mean by all the blur? Is there motion blur that can't be turned off?

There's a ton of blur, which can be turned off ;) All graphical options are widely customizable in the demo, if you except the resolution. The trailers and screenshots don't do the game justice.

For SLI users, nhancer profiles are as follows (thanks to Evga's effort) :

DX9 : AFR 4-way, compatibility checkboxes 16/18/20/22/25, AFR2. [0x02550005]
DX10 : AFR 4-way, compatibility checkboxes 04/05/06/07. [0x000000F5]

OMG, I can't believe how bad this game is. The menu is very Painkiller-like, but the game itself reeks of horribly optimized value game with bad graphics and tons of laggy, pauses, etc. What's worse is the gameplay is all about just wading through zombies.

Painkiller has way better graphics, runs way smoother, has better enemies, and more to do. There's just no comparison, and I don't even like PK that much anymore. Heck, I didn't even bother with the latest expansion except to try the demo.

I can't even give this game a rating it's so bad.

I certainly don't agree... I guess it's all subjective though, except for graphics. I don't see how you can knock the visuals, or say Painkillers were better.

See I would mostly agree. The graphics were very nice, but the gameplay was horrible. I couldn't play it for more than 10minutes :(

Heheheh. That's part of the game's charm. It won't sell millions. It's so easy to hate at first sight. 8) People steering clear of it after their first try just don't know what they're missing.

-The game crawls with all options cranked up, aim for at least 40-50 fps to enjoy the pretty fast, "busy" gameplay.
-Progress is scripted : everything may feel messy the first time, but it gives the game an excellent replayability, once you know what to do and decide of your "strategy" and pace of action.
-If you're just moving around and shooting things, maybe you should take a couple minutes to learn the controls (kick, throw, adrenalin...)
-Samewise, learn the sounds and you'll soon forget about the HUD.
-Looking for a better weapon and get rid of the usual gun/knife underdog kit makes no sense here : anything goes, it's all about combos !
-Zombies are not the main enemy, just a fuel source. The more the better... sort of :)

Again, this is not any FPS. People remotely fed up with lazy, generic, hollow shooters should give Necrovision more than a quick try. Oh - I'm not saying you can't dislike it

I dropped textures from high to med, and severely lowered or shut off many options after seeing how poorly optimized it is. At first I thought there was going to be a noticeable improvement in performance because immediately I could move around crisper and faster.

However once the AI spawned and particularly once the physics of killing them engaged, things went right back to a crawl with huge pauses. I mean I'd get a head shot, the headshot icon would show, then seconds later after the video froze, the action would continue, but in slow motion physics.

I admit, I have a mere P4 3Ghz HyperThreading single core CPU, but my God I can play Assassins Creed, Stranglehold, Far Cry 2, and other games that supposedly require dual core with WAY better performance AND graphics settings. Were I to turn everything down as low as possible, the graphics would look even worse, and they already look much worse than even good old PK at Med.

I seriously doubt putting everything as low as possible would eliminate all the lag, stutter and pauses either. Anyways, I uninstalled it and can't see trying it again, even after building my uber rig around year's end. It just doesn't have much gameplay appeal even if it weren't for the performance issues.
