According to the thread I started ages ago on Powerstrips forum: http://forums.entechtaiwan.com/index.php?topic=6694.new;topicseen

Dont have the ATI card anymore so I cant test it. Previously it would only display a corrupted image when I manually made the custom res in Powerstip on ATI cards.

i will try with my 3850 and 3450 lol

not sure if the 9.2 driver fixed the old card.

may have fixed the new cards lik 4850 and 4870

if so this is a huge NEWS

Bear in mind you likely still have to hack in the mode with Powerstrip.
