I think MMORPGs are GREAT in surround gaming.

I can have my inventory window open at all times, I can have the big map open at all times, I can make multiple chat windows with different purposes (guild, group, global, etc.), I can have a bunch of taskbars...

Also the "fish-eye" effect doesn't bother me anyway... but when I have all that open, I don't look at the scenery on the side monitors much anyway.

As for Lord of the Rings online, I play in 1st person mode, so here's one player who doesn't see the fisheye effect in that game...

As I understand it, you told me I played in 3rd person?

All I can suggest is that you sit closer to the screens and open up tactical info on the side screens, leaving the centre screen clear for immersion purposes.

This issue is a well known side effect of TH2go. The most casual of research, especially on this site, prior to purchase would have revealed all this for you...

Enjoy the experience or sell the whole setup and invest in a 1600x1200 monitor. Let's face it, even a single standard widescreen monitor of any resolution has fisheye, so unless you want to boycott playing widescreen altogether, I can't see any other option other than a large 4:3 or 5:4 screen...

Now if you'd complained about the lack of dx10 support, I'm with you...

I do apologise. I was trying to be helpful...

The thread was exactly two days old. I apologise again for not checking every half hour.
