I am trying to run 5040x1050 on 3 lg227wtg's. But I can not for the life of me to get the computer to allow that setting.

Vista Ultimate 64
2 gtx285 sli
Matrox THtg
3 lg227wtg

Just set all this up thursday of last week. On the newest nvidia drivers it will run 4320x900 no problem. Matrox setup ulitity errors after the first reboot setting the resoultion. So after a little readin I go into the nvidia setup a custom rez. and it works but nvidia tells me the monitor doesn't support it. So now more reading and I get the 182 drivers go through all the setup and then set the res i want and the lg's go out of freq.

Any help will this would be greatly appreciated. The 4320x900 just drives me nuts on widescreen.

OK after playing some more with different version of drivers. I can now get 5040x1050 but matrox wants to do it at 55hz... ? Out of ranges the monitors.

In the nvidia custom refresh setting that up manually to 57 but the monitors out of range showing 48 hz?

Whats the deal am I missing something?

Try to set the 5040x1050 resolution at the matrox powerdesk, go on the "setup", then click on "choose" and select the 1680x1050 resolution to each monitor.

I read somewhere and am wanting to confirm do you need a dual link dvi cable to run this rez?

Yes, you need the dual link cable included in the matrox th2go box, to connect the matrox adapter to your GPU, then common cables to connect the monitors to the matrox thg adapter.
