This looks really sick. Maybe not as impressive as 24-screens, but its Crysis.

I expect much more from cryengine 3
like for example distortion fixing on the sides

There's nothing to "fix", the so called "distortion" on the side screens is correct.

Now, if you were to angle your screens inward, that would throw off things a bit. Game cameras assume a flat display surface, if your side screens are angled inwards they're not going to look correct.

then I guess you don't agree with this :
http://www.widescreengamingforum.com/node/10894

there's still different ways to go about it
example : in bioshock there's almost no problem, nothing that I could really notice on a simple 16:10 LCD (once the correct aspect ratio was fixed in patch)

in Prey, people get a lot fatter on the sides of the same screen ...

two different approach, my take is that bioshock has a trick so that it has less edge distortion ...

in the end I think it can be better than it is right now !

iRacing has no issue with edge distortion any longer. In the options menu you enter the angle the screens are relative to one another, and blammo. Fixed. You can also enter the width of your screens and width of bezels. This eliminates the need for bezel management outside of the app. It works brilliantly.
