That was sexy!

Looks like they got rid of the glow and kept the wide angle without distortion.

very nice black level.

would like to see a 100/120Hz refresh rate and a gaming mode where the 100/120Hz is supported. Then, on top of that, would like to see a proper 120Hz (or 100) input on the screen, at 32" say, i dont think it will go any smaller than that.

That would be an amazing monitor.

:D

is it feasable to get a DVI port with a 1920x1080 @ 120Hz input? there is enough bandwidth on the DVI cable?

DL-DVI should be able to do it just fine.

if they allow the port to accept that? you do know they are going to put like 5x HDMI on it, with one with seperate 2 Phono input for PC connection, and then say that you need to run it at 640x480 @ 60Hz like all the others do :P

would dearly like to see a 100Hz option, to treat it as a 100Hz screen :(

I remember Sharp demoing a 1,000,000:1 CR screen awhile back (2007). Still haven't seen that available.

Looks familiar eh?

I was going to give a similar reply, but decided not to bring everything in a negative light for a change

just a quick question......

the text talks only of new panel. is this a fancy new panel and led backlight (not sidelight aka LED TV from Samsung), or just the new panel that is doing that. I've seen blacks like that already, but the TV's that can produce them suffer from localised and full screen dimming, which is far less than desirable in ideal situations.
