[quote]*cough* I think you mean surround-screen supported games, not "eyefinity supported" games.

No, no, I think he mean "Eyefinity Supported" games!

:P
but if a game supports Eyefinity it will also support any other equivalent surround-screen method :P

that's only partially true, SoftTH can only be used with D3D (DX) games.

Hence my stating that it would only make sense to differentiate when it deviates from what is standard surround-screen. Of all 3 solutions SoftTH is the most limiting even though it does PLP and other goodies. ;)

Hi all,
Anyone have luck getting Assassin's Creed to work on all three monitors (Eyefinity) yet?
I'm puzzled, the correct resolution is listed under options (5760X1080) but only the center screen has gameplay.

This game is listed in AMD's official Eyefinity summary.

Any help will be appreciated.

TIA

Edit: I may have found the answer why. AC only supports 16:9 ratios. :?

also of note both the wiki & the 2nd page of the detailed widescreen report (accessible from the master widescreen game list on the right)
linked to this very tool!

might be helpful next time you search for a TH support for a game

EDIT: Duplicated for the correct thread.

OK, i'm running 3310x1680 (portrait mode) on 3xDell 2210 with a 5850.

So far the only games i've managed to get going are OpFlash 2 Demo and Dirt 2 demo. Tried OpFlash 2 retail, 2142, BF2 and MW2 all which crash on install.

Anyone else having problems installing/playing games in portrait mode ?

Is this something to do with games only supporting 16:10 / 16:9 ? So portrait modes just cause CTDs ?

I also found it pays to set the fan speed to 45% when running SETI as a screensaver or the GPU overheats and either BSODs or just locks up.
