Has anyone tried this for NHL2006?

If so let me know how it goes, thanks!

OH MY GOD! I am so grateful for this solution! It worked perfectly and now I am enjoying this game on my Dell 2405's native resolution and it looks unbelievable. :D Thanks again!

unfortunately, this solution only stretches the screen, it's not true widescreen mode :(

Not here on my 2405FPW.. When batting from the catchers view, I can see both the SS and 2B while on my regular 4:3 monitor I cannot. The FOV does change indeed.

Please post a screenshot. I did the fix for 1680x1050 and it came out squashed/stretched. I have a dell 2005fpw.

Could someone please look into this for nhl2006? I have no idea when it comes to hex editing and the values needed.

I will confirm this also works for NBA Live 2005! Wish I had known this the year I owned before NBA Live 06 :( Live 06 does not seem to have the hex value for the original 800x600, so I had nothing to replace.

The image however, is squished, incorrect aspect ratio. I've never seen the game look so nice though :D

I sent the OP a PM, but I was wondering if anybody knows what the hex code would be to set the res to 1280 x 720? I tried a google search for a hex -> text translator, but somehow couldn't get it to work.

THanks.

720 is D002 in Little Endian (the hex format that Intel uses...)

All you have to do is find the reference to 1280x1024, and change 1024 to 720. Hopefully. :)

Sweet! Now, if only I can figure out how to find what 1024 is in "Little Endian."

Google search for "Little Endian" gets me to a lot of sites that I don't understand
