I don't see what the fuzz is all about.
So with this tech you need all new monitors that can all run 120Hz, plus Nvidias 3D glasses package, plus a modern Nvidia GPU, plus then you have to play everything in 3D.

Very expensive and far from mature tech.

3D is not mandatory. You can also use it as a regular triplescreen configuration. It's even going to work on GT 200 series cards in SLI.

You don't have to play them in 3D. The tech also works to play games with 60hz monitors, without the shutter glasses, in 2D projection (just like the TH2Go).

It doesn't end the TH2GO, it simply matches it. It's a good thing for everyone, because developers will not be able to ignore the triple head configuration.

If it doesn't support bezel management, then it doesn't match the TH2G, it's just another alternative with some pros and some cons, like SoftTH etc.

Best case situation is that it does have bezel management and can support any combination of monitors. Likely? Unsure. Time will tell.

Dammit. This is what I had originally wanted to do with my 3d setup, but now I've spent money on two more regular monitors and a triplehead2go setup. Guess I'll be selling some stuff on ebay when this goes live.

That's the reality of enthusiast computer tech. Something new comes out every other day to make your current hardware instantly worth half what you paid for it.

I'm not complaining myself. I would love to get 5040x1050 though. I don't really consider my purchase a waste or anything. Don't plan on getting anything to replace it anytime soon either.

My next system will certianly have a card(s) that does it. Hopefully then I can do 5760x1200. Won't be anytime soon though.
Then I will put the TH2Go on a work system or something. I'll find some use for it.

Monitors are the next thing we need to start seeing. 120Hz, 16:13 aspect and bezelless ;)
Or even really large single screen, 3 input, 120Hz, 48:13 or thereabouts :rockout

It would be nice to have a bit more height than 3 16:10's give. Even 16:11 x3 would be better.
I guess we may see something like that, at some point.

I will probably replace my current card +TH2G when the new 300 series (whatever they call them) comes out. Already running 5040x1050 but the matrox software is cruddy. I get very tired of it determining that my resolution has changed" and then setting my rez back to 3840x1024.

Can't see it happening, other than specialist type monitors. It really looks like everything is moving to the 16:9 'HD' TV format and I suspect that's where it'll stay for a while. I still prefer 16:10 but they are getting harder to find.

Yeah I know. It was just wishfull thinking really.
16:10 x3 is bad enough in a way. Something 3x 7:5 would be much nicer. 16:9 x3 is out of the question, for me. I don't even like 16:9 for a TV. They looked too short top to bottom. I would rather pay a few bucks more for more vertical height.

nVinity or whatever may support portrait mode, not sure. That wouldn't too bad with 5x 16:10 panels. 5x16:9 would probably be okay too, but a bit more narrow.
16:9 would be good for 6 panels though.

Maybe we will see bezelless panels anyway. And if so, hopefully whoever designs them makes them taller than a 16:10 is. Or at the very least 16:10. It would be a total shame to see them come out as 16:9, unless one planned to use 6 of them.
