Thsank you for teh reply! I see what you mean when you say 1024 would infact resultin less space! I played a few multi player games over the weekend which worked very well and no problems or crashes which I can not say the same for the Starcraft resolution expander. On my netbok anyway!

Brilliant work tho and thank you!

Hello all, congratulations for perfect work to you, who created this patch. Works perfectly in that wide functions. I just have a QUESTION about the color palette fix under W7 and explorer.exe suspend. I like a lot this suspend mode. Much better than just kill and start explorer.exe again. BUT, it is still in batch file, so it is impossible to use this batch file for online games (GameRanger, Voobly etc.).

Please, is there any plan to implement this suspend function directly to the game executable file? Or maybe better to create very similar program to AocWin7.exe, which runs in background after the windows startup and is able to determine when the AOC starts, so he automatically kill the explorer and after AOC exit this program is automaticaly capable to run the explorer again. But instead of killing explorer it would be much more better just to suspend it with your function and "process.exe" program. Thanks to that Aocwin7.exe background process it is possible to play AOC online with the normal palette colors (but killing and starting the explorer again leads to disorder some of my icons in system tray).

Thanks for any reply,
good job again and congratulations!

My sincere congratulations, B! This message is to confirm that the game plays PERFECTLY at 2560 x 1600.

PS. Is there a method to donate other than PayPal?

Not that I've arranged so far... any suggestions that are more convenient for you?

I've tried it from different locations (work, home) and it's not down. Does the DNS resolve? Did you try http://boekabart.dyndns.org/aoe2wide/ as alternative DNS to the same server? Any more people who have this problem?

Ya, my bad. His site is up. I went to my local library this afternoon and it came up no problem. I have some screwball DNS look-up issue :? . Weird that this problem has only been his site..like...ever (7 yrs. with this set-up). I'll trouble-shoot this. Sorry about the post.
Boekabart was cool enough to respond to my email, check out the issue and on top of it sent me back the file I needed. :D Thanks, B. You da mang!
