Hey,
I have been on the 5760x1080 quest for a while now.
I purchased three Samsung 23" 2333SW+ monitors native res 1920x1080 as LCD TV's have made the panels so cheap now.
My hardware is Lenovo W500 with ATI FireGL V5700 running Win 7 x64 Ult.
I contacted Matrox but their TripleHead2Go doesnt support 5760x1080, and said the maximum resolution supported by chipsets is 5040x1050.
After a little searching came across the Mviewer MV103-HDVE Pro which claimed to support 5760x1080 @ 50Hz.
I contacted Samsung to see if the 2333SW+ would support 50Hz they said no, it only supports 60Hz.
I created a custom resolution with 50Hz refresh and the monitors worked fine.
I then got the Mviewer and it I can confirm it works at 5760x1080 with Samsung 2333SW+ monitors.
So hardware check, now onto the software.
I tried running Powerdesk 2.06 however the triple head features appear to be disabled?
I contacted Matrox again showing them the setup running with Mviewer, so my chipset does support 5760x1080.
They said they will contact me if and when they support it.
So wanting 5760x1080 now I am left with the challenge of getting PowerDesk 2.06 running.
I know I can use version 2.04 but want to use 2.06 for features.
Does anyone have Powerdesk 2.06 running with Mviewer?
If not does anyone have a TH2G Digital edition and wants to assist me in getting it running?
Cheers.
p.s. Matrox, more than happy to purchase your TH2G once you support 5760x1080 for your efforts on PowerDesk software but until then I need a workaround :)
