[quote] And I also think that they are tired of breaking things too, I for one am SICK TO DEATH of having to hot plug my HDMI every time I want to use the TV (sound goes from TV to audio system, so need the HDMI to output to TV first).
I ended up spending 60 bucks to change my media PC GPU from AMD to Nvidia because of this issue. It's unacceptable.
I wouldn't care but it worked fine for so long, so why would they go and break it just for the sake of getting a driver out of the door on a specific date?
I have been a supporter of AMD stuff since I moved from my 6800GT AGP card, but I think it is about to change. Pretty sure if nV continue their GTX680 style of cards (faster and more efficient than AMD's) then I will be moving back to nV camp. I haven't had so many driver problems ever, since I moved to this HD5850.
Hopefully these problems will go away now we are looking at a less pressured driver release schedule.
