LG is once again putting on their LG Ultrawide Festival. This year they are running a contest called "Dream Canvas" in which you can win one of their newly released 38" ultrawide displays. The LG 38UC99 has an astonishing 3840x1600 resolution. Fifteen finalists will each win one of the new displays, with the grand prize winner will win a $10,000 dream workstation and have their artwork displayed at LG's booth at CES 2017.
The submission period is September 21 - October 4. All you've got to do is tweet your wallpaper with the hashtags #LGUltraWideFestival, #DreamCanvas2016, #38UC99 and linking the tweet in a post on the website during the submission period. You can get more info at the LG Ultrawide Festival Website. Check out the LG website for all the specs on the new 38UC99.
Given how the WSGF has been early adopters of 21:9 ultrawide, and we've got lots of great artists in our gaming community, we'd love to see one of our own bring home the top prize (and some of the additional monitors as well).
